"No significant learning can occur without a significant relationship."

- James Comer
I aim to be a teacher that can meet the needs of a diverse classroom and be able to provide a successful foundation for each and every student I encounter. As a teacher, I aim to exemplify respect, keep learning student centered, and give each of my students a foundation to be a successful professional outside of the classroom. I plan to create a positive classroom environment by incorporating humor at appropriate and professional times. Additionally, I believe at the foundation of every successful classroom is strong relationships between the educator and students. This allows trust to form between the educator and student which creates a positive and safe classroom environment. I invite you to reference the documents below where I continue to elaborate on my teaching philosophy. Also, I have included a document that has data-based evidence supporting my teaching philosophy.
